Well going into the details, Amrutha Phadnavis is basically a classical singer and she has now crooned for a devotional song in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal that dusky beauty Priyanka Chopra in the lead role as a powerful Cop.

Amrutha got this opportunity from Prakash Jha who saw her singing in a recording studio. Well Amrutha has clarified that she sung this song only because the movie is a women oriented film and did not take any remuneration for the song. This song was composed by Salim-Sulaiman and penned by Manoj Munthashir.

Well it is something new for any leader’s wife to get individual identity instead of just being a homemaker. Isn’t it?
