If there is one film in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s career which redefined ‘mass appeal’, it was Gang Leader which released in 1991. Paruchuri Brother’s dialogues, Chiranjeevi’s dance moves, strong supporting cast, the perfect commercial execution made it a memorable film for Chiru and his fans. Naturally, it became a remake prospect for the new gen Mega heroes who are now desperately vying for this title!

As per inside sources, Sai Dharam Tej has already signed up for a project with Balupu director Gopichand Malineni and expressed his wish of having the title 'Gang Leader' for this flick. However, Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan objected for it saying that he is keen upon having this title for his upcoming film with Sukumar.

As per sources, the issue has been brought to the notice of Chiru and the final decision would rest with him. However, Chiranjeevi himself expressed in few interviews that 'Gang Leader' perfectly suits Ram Charan’s persona, mass appeal and style! So will he convince Sai Dharam in this issue or sacrifice the title?

We will have to wait and see Megastar’s judgment on this title issue!
