Supremely talented Thaman tasted his debut blockbuster with Mass Maharaja’s Kick in 2009. This is the film that shot Ravi Teja’s stardom to new heights. So in a way Kick is a special film for both the actor-composer who bonded strongly later. Thaman did not look back thenceforth and he accomplished 50 films milestone in just 6 years – a rare feat for any music director.
The combo of Thaman & Ravi Teja became so successful later on that they worked together for 8 films till date delivering many chartbuster albums like Kick, Mirapakai, Balupu, Power, Kick 2 etc. Now they are coming together for their 9th project titled Robin Hood. Earlier this film was planned to be produced by Damodar Prasad but now it has been taken over by DVV Danayya. Debutante director Chakri shall helm this commercial pot-boiler. Bubbly beauty Raashi Khanna is paired opposite the Mass Maharaja for the second time after Bengal Tiger.
The official launch date of this film is March 4. Well with Thaman in the squad, yet another chartbuster album is assured. Mass Maharaja fans – time to rejoice!
