Akkineni Nagarjuna – He is King to fans, Manmadhudu to girls & a star hero to the industry. Of late, he is once proving why he is the most versatile hero of Telugu cinema. While some of his peers are still stuck in the image chakra, Nag is feasting his fans with versatile films.
Recently, he scored “Rs 50Cr blockbuster” with romantic entertainer Soggade Chinni Nayana in which he plays a flirtatious charming landlord Bangarraju. And after Rakthi, Nag is back to Bhakti with his upcoming devotional film on Hathi Ram Baba to be directed by the maverick K Raghavendra Rao who earlier gifted us masterpieces like Annamayya, Sri Rama Dasu & Shirdi Sai.
This Hathi Ram Baba role is haunting Nag from a while and now he gave his nod to portray this special role. Already KRR’s team is working on the script and the film shall hit the floors in near future. After this film, Nag will be again back to his favorite romantic genre. He shall be doing Bangarraju, the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana which shall be directed by Soggade director Kalyan Krishna.
Two back to back contrasting projects with diametrically opposite characters – what more can an actor ask for? Even in his mid 50s, Nag is truly giving his contemporaries a run for money. Kudos!
