The dynamics of cinema are changing quite rapidly when it comes to the business angle. There was a time when stand alone producers used to rule the roost. But today they are all sidelined and the corporate entities have entered. Bollywood is seeing only big banners calling the shots.
Now, one man has been successful in wooing the corporate with his small screen entity. He is the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma and recently he launched a YouTube channel known as RGV Talkies. RGV’s vision for this is to come up with films without any censor inhibitions.
For that concept, few corporate entities have connected and they have put their money. They say that they see a good revenue potential in this model and are ready to sustain till the breakeven period. This would mean the films in RGV Talkies are going to come with higher quality and standard.
