Celebrities’ edging towards politics is not a new story to us. Right from South Indian superstar MGR to Sr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Roja (the list never ends), most of the established actors entered politics later in their career.
However there are stars who were hyped to be entering politics but never did. And recently popular actress Trisha also fell into the same category. But the fact is that she is going to be seen as a politician in her upcoming political thriller.
Going into the details, Trisha will be seen in a role named Rudra (a political leader) opposite Dhanush in their forthcoming Tamil film Kodi. This film features Trisha-Dhanush jodi for the first time and even Dhanush will be seen in a dual role for the first time in his career.
Even the film’s posters are featuring Trisha in a political leader pose and elections in Tamil Nadu are around the corner. Hence speculations about Trisha’s political entry are gaining strength. Well we need to wait and see if Trisha will get into campaigning at least (if not mainstream politics).
