After the ill-fated Bruce Lee, Ram Charan is leaving no stone unturned to score a hit at the box-office! As we know, his upcoming flick is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan.
This film was reportedly titled Rakshak going by the three letter sentiment of Charan. Stylish director Surender Reddy is helming this prestigious remake that is being produced by ace producer Danayya. The regular shooting of Rakshak shall commence from 22nd of February and the makers have unofficially locked the release date as August 12. After considering many names, Rakul Preet has been finally finalized for this project and this is the second consecutive film for Rakul & Ram Charan.
Somehow, there is a myth against Tamil & Malayalam remakes and brain teasing stuff is not usually liked by the mass audience. Given Charan’s mass following and image, this is indeed an acid test for him & director Surender Reddy. We have to see how good can they perform!
