Coming to the news, actress Rakul Preet sold vegetables at Manjeera mall near KPHB colony in Hyderabad to raise funds for a charity show called Memu Saitham which is being organized by popular actress Manchu Lakshmi. These funds would be utilized for the welfare of the needy. Generally no star heroine would agree to something like this with security concerns but Rakul’s big heart is once again revealed with this small step.
Generally these kinds of charity events are organized at the time of natural calamities but with an intention to continue it on a regular basis, Manchu Lakshmi started this initiative.
This commendable act by Rakul and Manchu Lakshmi is truly commendable. Hope many celebrities and commoners join this noble act to rise up to a bigger cause.
