We witnessed the heat of GHMC polls in the Hyderabad city couple of days ago and everything is slowly settling down in the State Capital.
Though the polling percentile was reportedly low, few celebrities have exercised their right to vote and brought over new headaches. Going into the details, Congress Politician Ponnam Prabhakar (ex- MP of Karimangar) has lodged a complaint on Balakrishna at the Election Commission for allegedly casting his vote in the local GHMC elections being an elected representative in the Assembly of the neighbouring state.
Balakrishna is an elected MLA from Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh statebut he has exercised his vote in Greater Hyderabad Elections (mutual capital of the states of AP & Telangana). EC has considered the complaint and is likely to issue a show cause notice to Balakrishna. The further course of action against Balayya shall be revealed in near future.
