The yesteryear family hero Jagapati Babu earned the name of Sobhan Babu from the 90s with films which focused on family subjects and sensitive relationships. But Krishna Vamshi’s Antahpuram unleashed the best out of him as a crazy thief and right from then he started doing interesting films now and then.
But the biggest break for him was to turn to antagonist roles with Balakrishna’s Legend and he has struck gold with interesting character roles since then. His recent performance as Mahesh Babu’s father in Srimanthudu and as the evil businessman Krishnamurthy in Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho was greatly appreciated.
Witnessing this deserving craze, Jagapati Babu seems to have decided to be quite choosy in selecting good roles from now on. He has been demanding 1-2 crores till now but now he is thinking of increasing another crore rupees to encash this craze!
Jaggu is also planning an alternate career as a producer by starting an own production house as well!
