During an era when Tollywood was immersed in heavy duty action dramas, hero centric films and grandeur, Sekhar Kammula took the audience back to simple living with his film Anand in 2004. He has earned an own fan base with some thought provoking films which dealt with simple emotions and relationships with great sensitivity.
Now, Sekhar Kammula is ready to make the big step into Bollywood by doing the anticipated remake of his own campus film Happy Days. Though this project has been on cards since ages, it has finally gathered pace. Apparently, Sekhar is quite busy selecting newcomers for the project in Pune colleges.
The current buzz is that Sekhar Kammula is associating with Salman Khan to produce this remake project. The film might hit the cards from March and another interesting project Leader-2 might start after Happy Days remake is done!
