The Sankranthi weekend has passed and it is now results time! We had four versatile films for this festive season and Balakrishna, the man of the masses is initially expected to dictate the box-office as Dictator.
When Nannaku Prematho film bagged divided talk the first day (i.e. Jan 13), fans assumed Dictator to be the hit of Sankranthi. On the contrary, Dictator movie could eventually impress only the B, C center audience alone. As per trade reports, Dictator movie first weekend collections are estimated to be s 13.8 crores (AP+TS). On the other hand, Dictator was squashed down by entertainers like Express Raja & Soggade Chinni Nayana at the US box-office, according to trade analysts.
The film is estimated to rake in over Rs 10crores more to achieve break-even. Meanwhile, small budget films like Soggade Chinni Nayana & Express Raja are doing well at the indigenous and US markets as well. So, we need to wait and see how Dictator manages to accomplish his target!
