Delhi based popular singer Vandhana Vadhera has filed a case on Police Constable and few others on the issue of insulting & misbehaving with her on Wednesday.
Going into the details, when Vandhana Vadhera was returning to her rented flat in Aarey Colony, Mumbai in the wee hours of Wednesday, she was stopped by the check post Police and a constable named Hemant Sawant started questioning her in a derogatory manner and even allegedly abused her with lewd language.
Offended Vandhana later lodged a complaint against the constable in Aarey Colony Police station. The Police accepted the complaint and are probing this issue appointing a Senior Police official.
This news came out as a major shock to the localities of Western Suburbs in Mumbai and a complaint against the local Police made the situation even more sensitive and bothersome.
