The divide became more clear when Chiranjeevi ventured into Politics by establishing his own political party Praja Rajyam in the year 2009 and Pawan Kalyan had differences of opinion with the Megastar. Most of Chranjeevi fans turned to Pawan Kalyan fans base as they were missing Megastar films on screen. Pawan went off establishing his own political party Janasena after Praja Rajyam getting dissolved earning him a separate fan base as well.
