When the magnum opus Baahubali hit the theatres, nobody expected it would create this type of storm at the box office. After watching the movie, the biggest question that came in the minds of many is, how much was the budget. At that point, it was being touted as 250 crores for the first part.
However, some secrets about the film are now coming out slowly. This is coming from the mouth of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli himself. It is heard that recently Rajamouli revealed the budget for making Baahubali-The Beginning and it is amounting to just 107 crores.
At this rate, one can imagine the kind of profits this film has made. Interestingly, even 40% of the second part was also shot during the first part shooting. That way, the producers have to spend at the most another 50 crores and they can mint the returns in a very big way.
