The very beautiful and talented Priyamani got national award for her performance in Tamil film Athu Oru Kanaa Kaalam and was immediately noticed by Tollywood. She was paired opposite the handsome hero Jagapati Babu in the family drama Pellaina Kottalo and her presence took the film to new heights. She was even casted by Mani Ratnam in Villain and she did a remarkable job.
To make things even better, she did a special item song with Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express. However, the offers for Priyamani narrowed down in Telugu and she was getting only meek opportunities. But now, she got a golden second chance from character actor turned director Prakash Raj.
Priyamani got a chance as a female lead for a trilingual Mana Oori Ramayanam in three languages namely Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. As Priyamani is well known in these three languages, Prakash Raj must have seen her as the ideal choice. Let us hope Priyamani makes the best use of this chance and proves her mettle once again!
