If there is one question which has been troubling everyone off late, it is the reason behind character actor Ranganath’s shocking suicide. Whoever has known Ranganath in person or watched him in interviews are unable to believe that such heartwarming person could attempt suicide.
Even when young hero Uday Kiran was upset about not getting roles, it was Ranganath who consoled him and tried to look at life in better terms. When Uday Kiran committed suicide, Ranganath was the first to react saying that such attempt is unforgivable.

He himself confessed in many interviews that it is not something to be scared about. His close associates also said that he attempted suicide once during his teenage years.
Just as years passed by and with his wife’s demise, Ranganath failed to see a useful purpose of his life and it was coupled with loneliness and sadness. It would have been more meaningful if Ranganath discovered a new purpose of life instead of aiming at ending the same in such abrupt fashion. But alas, it is indeed destiny which was in store for him!
