Though the North media allegedly ignored the Chennai floods, Bollywood Superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and others have announced their donations towards the flood relief in Chennai.
Recently, yet another Bollywood Superstar expressed his love towards the people of Chennai. He is none other than Akshay Kumar and his Rs 1 Cr donation to Chennai relief is gaining appreciation all over. This amount was donated to an NGO called Bhumika Trust which is being maintained by Actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam that is working extensively towards the rehabilitation of Chennai.
On a whole, Akshay joins the list of film stars who came forward to help rebuilt Chennai.
