Sathyamurthy, father of music director Devi Sri Prasad, passed away and Yendamuri poured out his feelings. He recalled how they worked for movies like Abhilasha, Challenge and four more movies. He added how Sathyamurthy sought recognition as a writer more than as a father of Devi Sri Prasad.
Yendamuri also revealed that in his book ‘Vijayaaniki Aidhu Metlu’ a reference of his has been made without mentioning the name. He concluded that he along with his other friends K S Rama Rao, Kodhandarami Reddy have lost a very good friend who was known for his straightforwardness and great heart. RIP Sathyamurthy!
