If there was one huge controversy which was happening this year, it is the aspect of Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. This topic became quite a happening issue which became an eagerly awaiting factor for Chiranjeevi’s fans as well as common folk. While Ram Charan himself spilled the beans that Chiranjeevi would be doing the prestigious 150th film with Puri Jagannadh, things looked quite hopeful.
But when Chiranjeevi didn’t find the second half of the script not to be satisfactory, Puri Jagannadh was out of the race! The ambitious filmmaker was clearly disappointed with this twist and then Chiranjeevi went on to consider the big Tamil remake Kaththi for his next flick. Coming to the director for this, Chiranjeevi was in dilemma about who would be doing it.
Incidentally, V.V.Vinayak who gave a memorable film like Tagore to Chiranjeevi was also considered for this flick but there were speculations after Vinayak’s Akhil getting bombed at the Box Office. However, as per latest sources, Chiranjeevi is coming back to V.V.Vinayak irrespective of Akhil’s result because of the immense trust in the director.
Chiranjeevi apparently planned to make a grand announcement about this project if Akhil was a hit but now making the announcement a low key affair. Let us hope the end of this year would make it a great treat for Chiru’s fans!
