India’s biggest film star Salman Khan got a huge relief from the ongoing hit & run case that has been bothering him from 2002. Today Bombay High Court pronounced its verdict on this case and acquitted Salman from all the charges in the hit & run case.
Previously the Bombay sessions court pronounced him as convicted in this case and announced 5 years of imprisonment for Salman Khan. But on the same day, he appealed in the Bombay High Court challenging the lower court’s verdict and got an interim bail.
And today after the prosecution failed to prove Salman’s role in the mishap, the court reportedly discharged him from all the charges. Anyhow this verdict is going to be challenged by Maharashtra government in the Supreme Court.
Well the big man is relieved at least for now and his fans across the country are already immersed in celebrations!
