The ravishingly pretty and lovely looking Jiah Khan’s suicide in the year 2013 has put the entire film world into a state of shock because she was extremely talented and acted on par with Big B Amitabh Bachchan in her debut film Nishabd. The police investigated the suicide and got the 6 page long suicide letter which was written by herself revealing many shocking facts.
Jiah was in a relationship with Sooraj Pancholi who belongs to showbiz couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. The police suspected that Jiah committed suicide because of differences with Aditya and booked the case under ‘abetment of suicide’. However, he managed to get a bail later saying the relationship was cordial and the letter was misused by Jiah’s mother Rabiya.
But now after nearly two years of this ongoing drama, CBI has intervened into the issue filing a charge sheet on Sooraj Pancholi as the accused. This has been done on the orders of Bombay High Court last year to analyze whether it was a suicide or homicide.
Let us hope CBI’s intervention would speed things up and justice is done for poor Jiah’s soul along with her family members.
