Shankar & Rajnikanth’s upcoming most prestigious film Robo 2 got hurdles on the very first note. The inaugural ceremony was reportedly cancelled.
The film being the third prestigious combo of Rajini & Shankar and the craze doubled with Hollywood’s Superstar Arnold’s addition to the project. But now the film's anticipated inauguration has been officially cancelled due to Chennai floods.
The first part Robo has minted millions at box office and this sequel is apparently India’s biggest budget film to be made. The main technical crew which worked for Robo movie will be working for Robo 2 as well and Rajnikanth is presently busy in Kabali movie shoot. According to the earlier schedule, the official launch of Robo 2 is supposed to be held on Rajnikanth’s birthday i.e. 12th of December.
However the current scenario in Tamil Nadu isn't favourable and this may disturb the shooting schedules as well. So we have to wait and see when the next official dates will be announced.
