Whenever you go to watch a movie in the theatres, you try to draw inferences whether it has been inspired from a Hollywood flick or a Korean flick. Usually, most of the good movies that come here have some connection somewhere. But this time, one film is being compared to Hollywood’s finest thrillers.
We are talking about the movie Killing Veerappan helmed by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. Those who have seen the rushes of the movie are comparing it to the Hollywood movie Zero Dark Thirty which revolved around the plan to hunt and assassinate Osama Bin Laden.
Killing Veerappan is also about hunting and eliminating the dreaded forest brigand Veerappan and it is heard that the emotional graph and intensity is quite high. Even the screenplay has been crafted intelligently. The film is due for release on December 11th so let us wish it gains recognition just like Zero Dark Thirty.
