If there is one new generation actress who earned the memorable girl next door image in current day cinema, it is Samantha. Right from her first film Ye Maaya Chesave, she earned admirers for the way she carried the saree attire with grace, poise and perfection. Sam brought the cotton saree tradition back to vogue with her ravishing presence in this film.
Though Samantha moved to glamorous roles as well in between, her girl next door image was always in demand. She acted as a doting mom in Akkineni family film Manam and she pulled the role with amazing ease. Usually, young actresses don’t look for acting as a middle aged mom but Samantha did a fantastic portrayal in dual role as a middle aged mom and a young college going girl in this flick.
Now, Sam will be seen a doting mom once again in Vijay’s upcoming film. Interestingly, her daughter’s role will be adorned by yesteryear actress Meena’s daughter Nainika who is going to make acting debut with this project. Vijay and Samantha is already a hit pair with their fantastic chemistry in earlier film Kaththi and now they are all set to pull off a family oriented script with more confidence.
