She was once tagged “Iron Leg” by this industry. But just as an old saying suggests, she hoisted her flag in the same arena and is now a fortune cookie for producers in Tollywood.
As her flicks like Srimanthudu and Race Gurram minted millions in recent past and took her demand to new heights. Interestingly, it is the Mega family that spotted her talent and gave her the first commercial breakthrough (Gabbar Singh). They have always promoted her and according to latest reports, she has been roped in Ram Charan’s next film (Thani Oruvan Telugu remake) with Surender Reddy as the love interest of the hero. She will reprise the role of Nayantara, a forensic analyst in this action thriller.
Well this is going to be the second film for Shruti with both Cherry (Yevadu) and Surender Reddy (Race Gurram). Insiders say she has been offered a whopping amount as remuneration for this film. Surprisingly, Shruti has done three films in the Mega compound earlier and this will be the fourth film. Looks like the Mega family is not bored of her while the fans simply love the combination!
We need to see if this hit combo will repeat the Yevadu magic again!
