Sukumar’s first production venture Kumari 21F has been on discussion for many reasons off late. While the film is praised for its straightforward narrative and impressive songs, it is also heavily criticized for the adult content and the characterization of a free spirited young woman who takes relationships quite casually.
This fact became crystallized when the Censor Board issued the film an A certificate which became a prime concern for the makers of Kumari 21F. They are now worried that the film wouldn’t attract family audiences for the impression it created and now they are eager to get it re-censored.
The makers of Kumari 21F are swiftly doing all the cuts advised by the Censor Board and keen on getting a clean U/A to repair the not-so- positive opinion it created till date.
