Fortunately, veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar’s grand niece Sayesha Saigal bagged this opportunity to get an ideal launch pad by being the leading lady opposite charming Akkineni hero Akhil. The young and effervescent actress was naturally having mountain high expectations on how well the film would do and her name would become a household topic.
However, things didn’t turn out the way Sayesha expected them to be. Akhil came in front of the audiences as a Diwali gift but couldn’t win the hearts of the audience. Though Sayesha’s presence in the film along with her stunning dance moves were appreciated, the actress seems to be disappointed for the lukewarm response she got. Sources also say that the makers of Akhil are yet to pay the full remuneration for this actress and it is also an important reason for her disappointment. The main reason for delay in payment is cited as over budget for the flick.
Things looked quite obvious when Sayesha planned a press meet all by herself instead of associating with the makers of Akhil after the film’s release!
