This may sound a bit unusual to you but then while most of the countries across the globe give first priority to online media and then to print media, the reverse is the case in India. But in the last decade, the online media presence has increased and many entities are trying to make their presence felt.
This is more so among the entertainment industry and now there are reports that some bigshots in Tollywood are planning to enter the web business. In fact, some have already entered and they have their own film/politics websites running. But there is a point all of them need to bear in mind.
Trying to write news genuinely is not possible. They have to write positive definitely. When there is no neutrality, public interest will come down. It doesn’t mean one has to go against the system but calling a spade a spade is tough. Despite that, many cine bigwigs feel being in web business will give them a good platform, so be it.
