There are certain films which evoke interest right from the time they are announced and the main reason for that is the cast and crew involved. And if it is a film involving superstar Rajnikanth, the project becomes the hotbed for the best and believable gossips and grapevines.
Something like that has been happening since few days. Apparently, there was a talk that the noted actor/director J D Chekravarthy has been roped in as the main antagonist for the movie Kabali. Lately, JD has been doing the roles of villain in Tamil and Malayalam so this news gained strength.
But the latest update has arrived that all this is just a gossip. JD’s office has reportedly confirmed nothing of that sort ever happened and added they don’t even know where the news came from. Well, it would have been nice to see JD with Rajini but for now, the curtains have dropped on this one.
