When Srinu Vaitla announced his new project Bruce Lee to be done with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, lot of expectations resurfaced. This was mainly because of Vaitla’s prowess in churning out entertaining comedy, interesting strategies and great songs. It was a deciding project for Ram Charan as well because his earlier Dasara release Govindudu Andari Vadele was a below average fare.
As a result, the makers of Bruce Lee planned to make no mistakes this time. They added every possible commercial aspect to the film which would become a fetching point for audience to watch it in theatres. Roping in Megastar Chiranjeevi was one of those clever strategies which seemed to work well on the opening day of the film. But going by the Box Office reports, Bruce Lee could make only a meager 35 crores in both Telugu and Tamil combined!
Ram Charan’s earlier film Govindudu Andari Vadele made 35 crores and going by the result of Bruce Lee now, we are forced to believe that Chiru entry could not fetch the much needed take off for this flick!
