Superstar Mahesh redeemed his position with a massive hit like Srimanthudu. It emerged to be the second biggest grosser in Telugu after Baahubali.
He is currently busy in shooting for a family entertainer called Brahmotsavam under Srikanth Addala's direction and besides that he recently gave his nod to Murugadoss' bilingual (Telugu & Tamil) script and his Srimanthudu co-star Shruti Hassan has been roped in for this crazy project.
According to sources, Mahesh has been offered a remuneration of about Rs 30 Cr for this bilingual subject and till date it is the biggest amount took by a South Indian actor after Rajnikanth. While Prabhas' remuneration for a biggest hit like Baahubali (two parts) is touted to be around Rs 24 Cr.
On the flip side, industry onlookers opine that in the wake of increased market potential and collections, it is indeed a legit amount for a star like Mahesh?
