When everyone is curiously waiting for the grand announcement of his 150th film, Chiru played a cameo in Ram Charan's Bruce Lee The Fighter. Many assumed that Chiru's cameo would be a trailer for his 150th film and act like an additional attraction for Bruce Lee. But on the contrary, audiences are just appreciating Chiru's cameo but not the film.
Adding to the misery, Chiru was apparently taken aback by the dull performance of Bruce Lee. With a mixed talk from the benefit show, Bruce Lee experienced a dip on the second day from the morning shows itself. This has apparently made Chiru and his associates to rethink about his comeback. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Chiru has already rejected Kaththi remake under VV Vinayak's direction and now even the comeback has fallen into doldrums.
On a frank note, senior heroes have somehow fallen short of their young counterparts in terms of market and many have opted to make films that suit their age and market.
