Time and again, we have spoken about how Telugu cinema is relatively very conservative when compared to Bollywood and dealing with subjects such as adultery, same gender sex and skin show. But it appears that those barriers are slowly getting removed here also.
Perhaps the best example for that is the new movie titled as Affair and this is being touted as the first lesbian film on Tollywood screen, as per the cine pundits. Helmed by Sri Rajan, the film has noted anchor Prasanthi in the lead along with another girl called Geetanjali. It is produced by Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana.
So far, whatever posters or stills have come of the film, it is looking evident that the film revolves around the sexual relationship between two girls. However, the makers have denied any such thing exists. Well, the film is due for release on October 30th so the truth will be out on that day then.
