From nearly an year, a lot of speculation and analysis was happening in Tollywood. It was about the two movies Baahubali and Rudramadevi and which one would beat the other. At all points, the director is the captain of the ship so the inevitable comparison came between the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and the grandeur director Gunasekhar.
Now that Rudramadevi has released finally, the analysis has also come out. The common opinion is “While Rajamouli is adept at bringing out the emotional peaks at the right moment and packaging it in the right manner, Gunasekhar focuses more on grandeur and visuals than the emotion.”
They add “Rajamouli scored the brownie points in terms of the technical standards he maintained be it graphics, capturing of the moments and Gunasekhar concentrated more on the narrative and mixing it with commercial treatment.” All in all, it appears that Rajamouli has won this race in all aspects.
