The showbiz world of Telugu Cinema looks quite glitzy and glamorous from the outside but it has its own share of sufferings and troubles as we go deep by. While some artists achieve a great fame they dream of, some artists go unnoticed despite having great acting skills and memorable roles. There are many character actors in Telugu films who were almost forgotten once they were gone and their families are not even bothered by the big names in the industry.
However, there is a bright side to this issue as well because some film stars and politicians come forward voluntarily to help such talented artists and their family members. A few months ago, KTR helped Nagaiah- the talented actor who played Siricilla Ramulu in Vedam and initiated help for struggling artists from Telangana state. Now, another such wonderful incident happened where two upcoming heroes offered their help for the comedian and character actor- the Late Iron Leg Sastry.
Iron Leg Sastry has done many films and primarily in EVV Satyanarayana’s flicks but died in vain with no proper financial support. Sadly, his family’s condition worsened after his demise. But a ray of hope occurred with Sundeep Kishan donating an undisclosed amount to Iron Leg Sastry's family. Not just that he took it to his social networking site and initiated a donation drive to which Sampoornesh Babu came forward and donated an amount of Rs 25,000 for the struggling family. Hope this opens up more celebrities to come forward to help such forgotten brilliant actors.
