The entire film fraternity along with common people were eagerly waiting to watch the marvel of Ilayathalapathy Vijay in his latest film Puli. This film has strong star cast including Sridevi and Sudeep in pivotal roles. The film also has two leading ladies Shruti Hassan and Hansika opposite Vijay- thereby increasing the glamour quotient of it. But the real shock came up when the film’s early morning shows were cancelled for both Tamil and Telugu versions.
While there was a hope about morning shows being screened, now even that has been cancelled because of some last minute legal clearance to be obtained. However, Vijay had to step up and clear few financial settlements by paying around Rs 12 crores (approx.) for the Tamil version to hit the screens. There were some shows of Tamil version already screened overseas at 10 AM IST and the film's 1st half is gaining a divided talk.
However, Puli Telugu version's release is still uncertain. Tickets were issued at many screens for the matinee shows and are now being refunded. Well, fans are eagerly waiting to watch at least the evening show. As per the latest update, Puli's Telugu & Tamil version release in AP & TS is stalled for today and a clarity on tomorrow's release is still awaited.
