The much awaited Vijay Shruti Haasan Hansika starrer Puli has eaten a jolt prior to its worldwide release this Oct 1 (tomorrow).
It is already reported that the Income Tax department has unexpectedly raided around 25 sites of Puli producers and its lead actor Vijay as well. Now the theatrical release of the film both in Tamil Nadu & two Telugu states is also affected.
As per latest reports, morning shows of Puli have been cancelled. AGS Cinemas has already announced the same and is refunding amount for the morning show tickets. However, we need to wait and see if the release gets a green signal at least from the afternoon shows. Nonetheless to say, Vijay fans are upset over this news but they are highly optimistic that the release would resume quickly.
Well, this is not new for Tamil stars and their films. Even Kamal Haasan starrer Uttama Villain faced a similar situation and the first days shows got cancelled.
