It takes something special to be known for something across the world and if it happens to be an Indian then it is a matter of pride for us as well. True to that, one lad has made the nation proud by becoming the world’s youngest film director. His name is Kishan Shrikanth and he hails from Sandalwood.
The Kannada cine fraternity knows him fondly as Master Kishan and not just that, he has now taken a giant leap. Well, Kishan’s latest offering Care Of Footpath 2 has now been chosen as the lateral entry into the Oscars 2016. This is the first time a Kannada movie has been selected to the prestigious Oscars.
The film is the sequel to Kishan’s earlier movie Care Of Footpath which also won him a fair share of awards. With this Care Of Footpath would be accompanying the Marathi movie Court in the Oscar race. Here’s wishing the world’s youngest film director the best of success for his movie.
