At a time when legends like maestro Ilaiyaraaja were ruling the roost, a young boy became an overnight sensation with his tunes. Eventually he came to be known as the Mozart of Madras and went on to win even the prestigious Oscar award. He is none other than A R Rahman and today he is an international music icon.
Now, Rahman has entered a new phase because the time has come for his son to make his entry. The boy’s name is Ameen Rahman and he had his formal debut in the Tamil movie O Kadhal Kanmani wherein he crooned for the song ‘Maulaya Salli Wassalim da-Iman Abadan’.
Ameen is gearing up for his debut in Tollywood now and this is for a movie to be produced by ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna. The details of his debut flick and the song will be out soon but it is spreading a lot of cheer among fans of Rahman in both Telugu states. They are eager to hear Ameen’s voice and are confident he would be as good as his father.
