The Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman became a global icon by earning two Oscars straight for his work in Slumdog Millionaire in 2009. After that, this talented composer was doing several international projects as well as Indian films.
But recently, ARR was in the news because he was scoring for an Iranian film named Muhammad: The Messenger of God based on the real life Prophet Muhammad- the forerunner of Islamic religion. The Muslim authorities even issued a fatwa against A.R.Rahman condemning his association with the project.

Nevertheless, ARR went on with the project and now- Iranian film association is sending this film for Oscars in best foreign film category! The Iranians are quite hopeful that this film would get the award or its brilliant team and of course- A.R.Rahman who has already won an Oscar!
