There is an interesting pattern which has developed over the last few decades when you observe the trend of competition and comparison in Tollywood. Earlier, it was more to do with competition between movies and it eventually shifted towards competition between heroes.
Cut to the present, since two noted movies do their best not to release on the same day, the focus has gone to comparison. Going further deep, it has gone from movie to song comparison as well. Something like that is happening right now in Tollywood and the focus is on two songs from two big projects.
They are songs from Baahubali and Rudramadevi. ‘Pacha botesina…’ from Baahubali got marks right in the first attempt and became a chartbuster. This was canned on Prabhas, Tamannah and now the attention is on ‘Auna nijamena….’ the song from Rudramadevi canned on Daggubati Rana and Anushka. Till recently all were in Baahubali trance but now they are focusing on Rudramadevi.
