Village Adoptions is one of the most trending programs in two Telugu states and in our country as well. Thanks to Mahesh’s Srimanthudu movie, that promoted the whole concept on a larger canvas.
While stars like Mahesh Babu, Prakash Raj adopted villages and are busy contributing back to the society, controversial filmmaker RGV has lampooned the entire concept of village adoption. Recently director Teja remarked that the concept of film stars adopting villages is just a tax reduction stunt. These comments turned controversial and later the filmmaker had to give a clarification on it.
And now RGV’s satirical comments have once again stirred the hornet’s nest. Here are the tweets he came up with -
I find this whole thing of celebs adopting villages very insulting to villages..No self respecting village will allow itself to be adopted
Imagine how insulting we will feel if a Hollywood star would want to adopt india reminding us that we are an under developed country

I think it's a conspiracy of government to incite the rich and the famous to adopt villages so that it itself doesn't need to do anything
Well though RGV has a point to say, fan world has already started questioning his contribution towards society. We have to wait and see how these satires would be handled by the stars!
