The auspicious Ganesh Navaratri festival has been flagged off across the globe with much pomp and grandeur. And on this eve, different types of Lord Ganesha idols were erected at each corner. However, interestingly few special idols that were inspired from few recent blockbuster films were also spotted.
Selfie Ganesha: Out of these, an idol wherein Lord Ganesha clicking a selfie with his family caught our attention. It looked inspired from Salman Khan’s Selfie Le Le Re from Salman Khan’s recent blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Srimanthudu Ganesha: As a part of it, we even spotted the uber cool and stylish Srimanthudu Ganesha idol wherein Lord Ganesha was cycling draped in Mahesh Babu’s costumes.
Sivudu Ganesha: Historic hit Baahubali had no less effect. An idol where Ganesha lifts Siva Lingam (inspired from Prabhas (Sivudu) Character in Baahubali) was also found.
Why did Ganesha put his leg on Kattappa?
Of course, Creativity! There can be no better answer than this when you happen to see the idol where Lord Ganesh puts his leg on the head of Kattappa simulation.
Last but not the least, we even had Bhallaladeva Ganesha this year. Bhallaladeva’s fight scene with the bull was also re-created into an idol.
