The maverick and sharp tongued director Teja has been on the news not just for his latest film Hora Hori’s release but many other unwelcomed reasons. He recently made a fierce remark on Mahesh Babu and many other film celebrities who are following the village adoption trend saying that it was just a stunt to evade income tax. Teja even went aboard requesting people to watch his latest movie Hora Hori in piracy if they find it unnecessary to watch in theatres!
As if things are not kept to a final halt, Teja made another stunning remark on Tollywood heroes recently. He flatly said most of the Telugu heroes do not have gratitude and don’t remember the people who gave them the crucial first break. He confessed that when he wanted to call all those big heroes he worked with for Hora Hori’s audio function, none of them bothered to respond.
However, Teja remarked that there were some good film actors who still remember and value him. He said that only Reema Sen, Sadaa, Navdeep, Kajal Agarwal and Suman Shetty still remember his contribution in giving them a good acting career boost. While his favourite hero Uday Kiran has already committed suicide, Teja strongly said according to him- the other heroes are no more!
We will have to wait and see how the Telugu film fraternity reacts to such shocking remarks!
