When the Tollywood analysts bring out a list of the cult and trendsetting movies of the industry, one film that will figure in the top list is Shiva. This was a path breaking flick which came more than 25 years ago and changed the way everyone looks at Telugu cinema.
In lieu of its journey, the makers had planned for a re-release and the last few months saw a lot of speculations about the exact release date. Well, here is some clarity now. Reliable sources have revealed plans are on to release the movie between the gap of Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri.
Incidentally, these two projects are also made by Annapurna Studios banner with Nag in the lead and they are looking for a long weekend or two consecutive holidays for the release. Buzz is that they are aiming for November or December. They believe correct slot will come and are waiting for it because this movie will have mileage only for 2-3 days just like the color version of Mayabazaar. Get set for this then!
