The medium of entertainment has become mandatory to all of us and after our stressful day at work, we expect some recreation. As part of that, two mediums have grown strongly. They are movies and TV. But at the same time, a constant debate is also on as to which among the two is more powerful.
So, here is the observation- Though mass reach is there for a movie, without TV, it cannot exist. The biggest challenge for a film is to sell its satellite rights to a TV channel. Those movies which are bought by TV have a life and the rest are forgotten as soon as they exit theatres.
Secondly, those who are working in small screen industry are having a peaceful life with consistent pay and constant opportunities. This is totally opposite in the cine circuit because you never know when opportunity strikes and how much you get paid from it. So, TV is more lucrative than movie for many people.
