You may have heard this several times that for many actors across India, Bollywood is the ultimate destination and they constantly strive to make their presence felt in Mumbai. But the fact remains that getting there is just not easy and this applies even to the star kids of the south.
Today, some of the south superstars have a mind boggling following and films run purely on their name and charisma. But when the same heroes head to Bollywood they come and leave without a trace. As such, their movies will become hits but actors will not have much life.
A good range of identity will come but craze will not come. However, if you live in Mumbai and settle there then there is a chance to be recognized but being based in Hyderabad and expecting a mania in north is ruled out. At the end of the day, a south Indian will always be a south Indian for the Bollywood folks.
