In the age of glamorous actresses who depend on make up and plastic looks for their good looks, there are still some heroines left who redefined the word “Traditional Beauty” in Telugu Cinema. One such lovely actress is Pranitha Subhash who made her great presence felt in Attarintiki Daredi. She is the only actress who deserves to be called as Bapu gari Bomma in modern age! This talented actress will be now seen opposite Manchu Vishnu in Dynamite directed by Prasthanam fame Deva Katta. Here is an iQlik exclusive interview with the actress:

Hi Pranitha.. how are you doing?
Hi.. I am doing great!

Please tell us about your latest film Dynamite?
Dynamite is a powerful, slick action entertainer which keeps the audience at the edge of their seats!

Did you watch the Tamil original on which Dynamite is based on? How different is the Telugu version?
I saw the Tamil original and it was very good. But Telugu version is going to be more entertaining and different in treatment.

Tell us about your role in this film..
I will be seen as a typical Hyderabadi girl. The whole story revolves around how hero solves a peculiar problem my character is in.

You have earned the name of girl next door through your roles till now. How was it coming out of the box and do action scenes for the first time in Dynamite?
This was the first time to take part in action sequences but it wasn’t core action. I did get injured once during an action scene. But I am happy to get such rare chance and stunt master Vijayan encouraged me well.

What was the most difficult scene for you in Dynamite?
There is a scene where I had to be beneath ten tables. I took many takes for it. It was challenging and at the same time tough.

How did you enjoy Dynamite’s soundtrack?
Atchu gave some splendid tunes for this film. He is one of those non native composers who grasped the pulse of Telugu audience greatly.

You acted with Manchu Manoj in Paandavulu Paandavulu Thummeda and now with Manchu Vishnu in Dynamite. Did you spot any difference between the celeb brothers?
Both are thorough professionals and I am pleased to work with them. Manoj however is more mischievous than Vishnu!

You are involved in promotion for the first time as solo heroine in Dynamite. How does that feel?
I am really glad. Till now I was doing the second heroine roles but this time it is fun to be the full length female lead!

Now that you got a chance to work as full length female lead, would you prefer acting in supporting role or that of a second or third female lead?
I am not particular about acting only in full length heroine role. If the story is good and my character has depth, I wouldn’t mind acting even for lesser runtime!

Are you doing any films in your homeland Sandalwood?
Yes. I have three Kannada films lined up and pretty occupied. It is always good to act in mother tongue!

How far can you understand and speak Telugu?
I did learn Telugu. I want to be professional artist in both my homeland Sandalwood and Telugu film industry.

Would you ever venture into producing films?
Producing a film is a daunting task. I might do it in future but not ready as of now.

How was it working with Dynamite director Deva Katta?
He is the most decent director I’ve ever worked with. His dialogues are mesmerizing and class apart.

Upcoming Movies?
I don’t have anything lined up in Telugu as of now but there are some Kannada releases!

Okay..thanks and wish you the best for Dynamite!
Thanks a lot!
