We are living in times wherein the fate of films is sealed in just one or two weeks. Few decades ago, any film which used to touch 50 days was considered a big hit and the ultimate hit was when it touched 100 days of running. But today, clocking even 50 days is impossible so 100 days is ruled out.
Despite such realistic situation, one film has been marching forward without any hamper to its collections. We are talking about the magnum opus Baahubali and the latest reports reveal the film has collected 580 crores gross. This means the film is just 20 crores away from the 600 crores mark.
The cine pundits have predicted that the big Bollywood releases Drishyam, All Is Well will prove to be the speed breakers. But the bright side is, the genres of these two movies are entirely different from that of Baahubali and given the trend of collections, this film might just touch the 600 crores mark. Let us wish it does!
